Installing Kodee's Bike Seat

This is how the biked looked before I swapped out the front pack for the new rack and dog seat
All the parts.  The Kong Dog Seat, the eBike Large Rack and a messenger bag... and lil man himself, Kodee.
The old attachment rail for the old front bag had to be removed.
Since Rad City was out of the Large Racks I had to look around on the net and found a similar one in Las Vegas.  This one just doesn't have the bolt pattern for placing it lengthwise on the back rack.  It fit perfectly.
Once I was happy with the placement I secured it with the included screws and some Loctite.
The Kong Dog Car Seat has soft sides so I needed to come up with something to keep the sides up and rigid.
This is how not to make the sides rigid...
It worked but wasn't ideal, I wanted something a little stronger and something that wasn't going to shift around while riding...
I decided on PVC pipe for the framework to keep the side walls rigid.
It worked quite well but the final pipes were a pain in the ass to get into the fittings but I managed eventually.
Here is the final dog seat with the inner cover installed.
Next was to install the messenger bag which will hold all my electronics and batteries for my streaming phones and cellular booster that was in the first front bag I had.
The final product.  We did a test ride around the neighborhood which worked well then we went for a 14 mile (22Km) ride.
